About Margaret Casella
Margaret opened her studio in the Flatiron district in Manhattan where she has pursued work as a commercial photographer as well as exhibiting in a large variety of venues including The Center for Photography in Woodstock, N.Y., Elaine Benson Gallery in Bridgehampton, The Webster Gallery at the N.Y. Horticultural Society, and the MTA’s Arts for Transit in Grand Central Terminal where her images of paper formed a “Paper Trail” for four months.
She has been published in Photo District News, The New York Times, Newsday, Harper’s Bazaar Magazine, TimeOut NY, Dan’s Papers as well as others.
Numerous awards were received in recognition of her creative efforts including a Gold Award for self promotion from Photo District News, and for her book: Garbage or Art. See images on this page. Books available.
